I’ve been doing a bit of spring cleaning lately. Yes, indeed it is still winter, but my feng shui is off, so I have to get it done now! In doing so, I came across a lot of old music. Artist like: Lisa Stansfield, Elton John, Mobb Deep, Biggie, Vikter Duplaix, After 7, Jodeci, Frank Sinatra, Sade, Coltrane, Miles Davis, Towa Tei and a whole scrap heap worth of undiscovered artist trying to make it. Music used to be my life!
I never had dreams of being a musician as sports was my first love. But, once the dream of being a pro athlete faded, a career in music is what I envisioned. To use a sports phrase, I was able to get a “cup of coffee” in the music industry but things weren’t what I envisioned. It wasn’t the ups and downs of the industry that bothered me, it was the ups and downs in the quality of music that was being produced that forced me to look into other avenues…and of course Napstar didn’t help. As the industry and labels were forced to realize that how consumers went about consuming their product was changing, they remained passive and reactionary. People will pay for entertainment as long as the performance is worth it.
Today, most of the music that is being put out just doesn’t compare to the decades of quality music that came before us. Fashion is a bit different, as I rummage through my old belongings, I am grateful for where things are now and I laugh at what once was in style. Not with music…I am holding on to this forever, because we may never hear such greatness again!

Yesterday, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake along with the many aftershocks that followed, took countless lives in Haiti. Reports are saying that an estimated 50,000 people are feared to be dead. The first independent nation in Latin America is now seriously dependant on the rest of the world for food, water, shelter, medical supplies…anything and everything! This part of the world is accustomed to the danger brought on by hurricanes, but it has never faced destruction to this magnitude.
It’s interesting how our brains and hearts work. When we hear of such a catastrophe, we tend to pause for a second and our hearts get a little heavy and perhaps we say a prayer to our God, but we’re wired to not feel that pain in such a way that it immobilizes us. After all, many of us have no connection to Haiti, but we still feel for mankind. This isn’t just some little occurrence that’s caused by earth’s natural ways.
The people of Haiti are in need of more than prayers…they are in need of action! It’s easy to retweet a call for action or update your facebook status for a call for action…but it will be a lot more rewarding when you actually pick up the phone and text for a donation, or go to your local Red Cross. These are the times when truly, every little bit helps! Each of our $5 or $10 donations is going to help restore Haiti and help them regain their independence!

Social media has fundamentally changed the way people interact and the future of the Internet.
Ecommerce and Overall Web Presence Will Move to Social Networks.
Brands will continue to remake their traditional presence in the social environment.
Ecommerce – everything – will move there. Fortunately there will be considerable room
for many, many relevant social networks despite Facebook’s dominance.
Mobile, Mobile, Mobile.
Soon. Users will continue to become more dependent on their
mobile devices. Smartphones make the interaction easy, convenient and engaging.
The iPhone illustrates this perfectly. Virtually all experiences will be accessible through a
mobile device and eventually optimized for it. There is still a bit of time to wait and see
on strategy and overall returns are not there yet, but they will be in three years.
What does this mean for brands? First, be everywhere but definitely be in Facebook. Second, think socially about where you take your brand, the marketing you engage and the locations
where you spend your resources. And finally, do it efficiently. Use the tools that are available to
create a positive ROI and broad presence now. It will pay off in terms of revenue and customers.

Welcome to Blog.com.
On the Anniversary of the worst disaster on American soil that this generation has ever seen, we decided that we should stay true to our motto…It’s not about us, it’s about you! It’s about those that lost their life on 9/11 and it’s about those that have given their life and are risking their life for our freedom so we that we can live out our dreams!
So, with our initial post we just ask that you continue to give thanks and remember those who aren’t here and whatever your dream is…inactivity is the true dream killer!
Don’t ever stop living your dream!
